Family Fest 2025:

Join us for an afternoon of family fun on Saturday, June 7! We will have various activities for your family to enjoy for FREE. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Johnston Town Center (6245 Merle Hay Rd.). Overflow parking will be available across the street at Lawson Elementary School (5450 NW 62nd Ave.). We hope to see you there!

Performances:

• 11:00 AM – 1:15 PM: Balloon animals with Jonathan May
• 11:30 – 11:45 AM: Dance performance from Dance Vision
• 1:00 – 1:30 PM: Performance art by Sam Rezz
• 1:30 – 2:00 PM: Magic Show with Jonathan May

Event Activities:

• Alpaca visit from Rusty Stars Alpacas
• Fun and learning with the Iowa DNR
• Kids Activity with The Bridge Church
• Spin art from Johnston Community Education
• Learn Stormwater Best Management Practices with Johnston Community Development
• Splad pad
• Yard games
• Visit with Johnston Police and Fire District members
• Book bike with the Johnston Public Library
• Food trucks: Outside Scoop, Kona Ice and Charlotte’s Kitchen
