Construction Update


The Hansen Company began construction on the Johnston Town Center in October of 2019. Since then, development has focused on-site work and infrastructure. City hall construction has been completed and The Yard is open for events! Additional businesses will be opening soon.

Town Center grounds are designed to accommodate a variety of uses including municipal, commercial, and recreational. Its walkable design includes open architectural components, outdoor gathering areas, and wide footpaths. Committees are currently discussing public art options that will contribute to the site’s beauty and sense of historical identity.
